My Garden Needs Bees

I support @FeedTheBees and have registered my garden so the can map a continuous world for bees in the lower mainland (Vancouver). I plant flowers to keep them coming back but find I have half the honey bees that I have had in previous years.

Site owner's comment: Thank you Margaret, and great to hear about the Feed The Bees initiative. There are so many opportunties to create 'feeding stations' for bees, and linking geographical areas can help to prevent the risk of inbreeding which could accelerate extinctions in some species of bees - especially bumblebees, for example. I hope your bee populations recover soon.
