The Meaning Of Bees In Dreams

Bees appear in great Holy books as well as ancient traditions.

This fact partly leads me to believe that there is a deep mystical symbolism in the bee, that may be expressed to us in our dreams.

What Do Bees Symbolize In Dreams?

Despite a lifelong fascination for bees, I have never had a dream about bees (although I did once dream about a hornet).

Below, I provide my thoughts and opinions on the symbolic and spiritual meaning of bees when they appear in dreams.

Please note: these are only my personal ideas, and differing views are widely available.

Swarm of bees
In some holy books, swarms of bees are sometimes sent to drive off that which is unwanted and /or causing obstacles, or that which is 'not a friend'.

So, if you have a dream about a swarm of bees, consider that it might be an indication of "something" in your circumstance (be that an event, people, or your own inner resolve) that has the ability to aid you in overcoming some form of hindrance, whether the hindrance be a general life problem, or your own limiting beliefs.

If, in the  dream you are afraid of the swarm, I suggest it's likely that your own limiting beliefs are the problem, and that you fear to address an issue that it could be beneficial to work on.

If in your dream you are pleased to see the swarm, this could mean that your difficulty or a set of limiting beliefs, is being resolved.

Many bees working industriously
If you dream about watching many bees working industriously, this may be an indication that you are about to endure a very busy period in your life, either physically, mentally or both.

The attitude you have toward watching the activity in your dream might be indicative of how you are feeling about the project you and /or your mind are engaged in.

A single bee
Seeing a single bee in your dream is a small but sweet 'blessing', or an indication of a small but meaningful victory, possibly on an emotional level or in a small event in your life.
